An airy silk kimono with a much darker mood.
This piece was a team effort between our designer Angie and our favorite model turned photographer extraordinaire, Hattie Watson. Hattie's the model you see shot here, as well as in our Jessi Preston lingerie shoot. We loved working with her so much we decided to design a piece together, and this is the result. Angie asked Hattie to go through the Rijksmuseum image archives and pull some of her favourite images, which we then combined to create the graphic for this kimono.
The front and back panels are made of digitally printed 100% silk chiffon panels. Silky smooth jersey is used for the sleeves and collar. The bottom edge of the top is finished in long black fringe, which we had custom made in Montreal.
One size fits all
Top is 50" long including the fringe
