This handcrafted bag is a combo of smooth brown leather and the most decadent digitally printed synthetic velvet. Using synthetic velvet (as opposed to cotton or silk) allows for an incredibly rich digital printing, as well as being more durable and easier to clean.
This bag is handmade in Montreal by the AMAZING Kimberly Fletcher, read more about this talented artisan in the collabs section of our site HERE

- 20" Handles as well as an incredibly practical adjustible shoulder strap. Can be worn long at 46" or doubled up short to be 23" long.
- Two outer zip pockets, as well as interior open pockets, perfect for your sunglasses or cell phone.
- Printed velvet panel is on both front and back of the bag, and the interior of the bag is lined in off white cotton.
The artwork for the printed velvet was created in house by photographing an amazing piece of vintage indigo dyed mudcloth. We didn't want to use ACTUAL vintage mudcloth for this bag since although beautiful the vintage textiles would not be able to withstand the tough daily use most people put their purses through. The printing on our velvet is so detailed that you can truly see the original handmade quality of the mudcloth, from the texture of the weave to the handstitching details.
This bag ships wrapped in tissue and is fully insured.
Bag dimensions are:
14" tall x 11" wide x 6" deep
Strap: 46" at full length (you can fold in two so it become a 23" shoulder strap, versatile!)
This item is MADE TO ORDER so please allow 1-2 weeks for Kimberly to complete the bag, depending on how much work she has lined up.
