This pillow cover is made from off white handwoven African mudcloth, printed with a grey bars pattern.
Due to the handmade nature of this fabric there will be slight variations or imperfections in the weave, and we consider this to be part of the beauty of this fabric. That being said, we check each piece for any holes that are too big and hand mend them. The exact pattern placement will vary from pillow to pillow, but it will be the same scale and general pattern as the photos.
Please note that "white" mudcloth is never pure white, and the shades within one piece can range from off-white to cream.
The finishing touch: a custom made rose gold zipper. We've had them made just for us in Los Angeles in one of the last zipper factories left in the USA.
The back of this pillow is made from a high quality 100% washed linen and is finished off with a subtly embossed faux leather Norwegian Wood label.
The pillow case measures 20" x 20", however when you're purchasing an insert we recommend buying one a couple inches larger. It's a quick trick that helps make your pillow look full and lush.
