Just as a classic oil painting blends seamlessly with modern and traditional decor, our custom printed canvas pillows sit equally well on a modern sofa or traditional chair.
The front is made of custom printed cotton canvas, mimicking the texture of an actual oil painting. Pristine piping in a contrast colour "frames" the art, creating a colour and texture play from front to back of the pillow.
This textile was created from an oil painting entitled "Seascape near Heijst" by Willem Roelofs, dating from 1868. This painting is from the collection at the Rijksmuseum (the Netherlands).
The back is made of our unbleached performance linen, a subtly textured, highly durable poly/linen blend.
Closes with a hidden zipper at the bottom edge.
The pillow case measures 18" x 18". We used a standard 20" square Ikea pillow in our photos.
This listing is for the PILLOW COVER ONLY. Why? Well, pillows forms are big and bulky, which makes the shipping cost go WAY up, and nobody likes that! It's actually much more cost effective for you to buy your pillow filling locally. That way you can choose the exact quality you want to buy (feathers vs. polyfil) or maybe you even already have one at home that you'd like to reuse!
Gently hand wash (not in a machine) or dry clean, hang to dry. Machine washing or drying is not recommended.
